I'd rather have a nice look and feel myself comfortably in public.

I can look the nicest in the crowd but if I am in a crowd that does not know me I would not feel very comfortable . But if I am comfortable then someone will probably feel like I looked nice and I have both attributes and I could possibly shine in the crowd.

I doubt I'd be able to look nice if I didn't feel comfortable in public... I'd end up looking like a wretch for feeling so out of place and uncomfortable. Give me comfort...with that comes confidence...and I've been told confidence is sexy

I would rather feel comfortable - but sometimes you just have to deal and dress up and look nice - depends on where I am going I guess...

Your advantages in life are a double edged sword. These things will be bridges with some and barriers with others. Keep the information about your life to a minimum and think carefully about anything that might be considered bragging. Your work friends are waiting to be put down. Old hurts, old baggage on their part.. Be outgoing, friendly and supportive. Once they get to know you, the difference in background will matter less.
