In california, our two state senators are Boxer and Feinstein. I just wanna know what are their responsibilites and duties of representating our state?

Strictly speaking, none whatsoever. You elected them for a 6 year term, which they can spend sleeping through every session of Congress, and there is nothing you can do about it other than not reelect them when their terms are up.

My sarcastic answer:
To jack up taxes as high as possible, take guns from the citizens to leave them defenseless, then fight with the other 98 Senators to take as much of the money as possible and use it to overpower the citizenry and dictate to them what they can do, and if they don't like it, use the socialized medical establishment to force them to take a pill that will leave them docile.

Represent what the citizens of the state want and work out a budget with plans and programs to best provide for those needs WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE CONSTITUTION.
