Why don't they spend their time digging our leaders for a resoulution on immigration?
Instead their main concern is Michael Vicks dog fighting. How many home runs some steriod induced loser has hit. And is some hyped up moron from across the pond is going to play a sport that we as americans could give a crap about. Your thoughts.

Unfortunately it comes down to money and that translates to who's tuned in. The majority of the masses are dumbasses. They don't want hard hitting news. They want to hear about Paris Hilton, Michael Vick, and the like. You take this and the fact that the current administration will give news people access only if they are nonconfrontational. There are no hard hitting questions or follow up. There's good information out there, you have to look for it. Find a source you like.

The media is beholden to its advertisers. Good ratings attract more advertising dollars. In-depth reporting on political issues don't attract viewers, who - in turn - create good ratings. The media has lost its reputation for being America's watchdog; as the Fourth Estate, the media fails miserably today. Profits come before importance, truth, accuracy or significance. -RKO- 08/21/07

The main stream media is ultra liberal and biased against Christians, republicans and pro lifers.
