We are planning to take the overnight train from Amsterdam to Munich. We would like to save some bucks by booking reclining seats, but if in the end they are not really that comfortable, we might as well book sleepers to get a good night's sleep. Has anyone sat in the 'super reclining' seats (according to raileurope.com) on any overnight journey in europe? Thanks.

I did sit in them in the day, they are almost as much reclining as the seats in a plane.
Better than sitting straight, but nowhere near flat enough to get a good night sleep.
Between seat and sleepers there is the couchettes.
Basically four or six bunks to a cabin, shared. I think they cost about 25 Euro, but worth the money.
