Say you meet a guy you've known for a while, and he's nice, handsome, and funny. But he sells drugs, smokes weed, got his liscence suspended for driving drunk, and got kicked out of college... lol. would you even be friends with him, and take him around town, believing there is a reason for it all, or not even bother, realising you can't change him and leave him be?

Well, I've had my fair share of bad boyfriends--unfortunately it does include the "Drug dealer." I hadn't known what he was doing but that he was a pharm tech. HAH! Technically he was, and when I found out what he was doing, it ended badly. He actually forced me to change jobs and apartment. I had to take out a restraining order on him and have the distance changed twice before I had enough of it and pressed charges, whenever the police became involved after he broke into my mom's house, they found enough heroine and cocaine on him to lock him up for 18 years. I visited him the first time in two years during Christmas to apologize and I think he repented. He seemed sorry, but there's always that doubt in my mind of it being an act. So no, I would never date another drug dealer again!

if you do please do it because you like him for the person he is and not to change him. you have to accept that person the way they are. but be aware there well be consequences. license suspended, got kicked out of college are already consequences he's suffered. if he already had that happen it's unlikely that he'll decide to fly straight. even the best drug dealer runs into the law at one time or another and if you're there you're and accessory. if you're not there, you might never get the chance to say goodbye cause he's headed upstate. think if you could keep up a long distance relationship for 3-5 years.

I not only dated him I married him. I did not know until after we were married. When I found out I was already pregnant then I left him. He changed when he realized I was serious about not putting my child through that. It was worth the struggle. We have 2 boys now and we have been married 9 years. He is my best friend and my soul mate. The point is people do change given a chance.

Did that, still miss him today (miss you Ricky!) but it was for the best, I can't be dragged down by that stuff. So you must bid him a fond farewell for your own sake but let him know that if he ever cleans up and hasn't killed anyone while you're still free, you'll be there in a heartbeat.

Been there, done that. Not doing it again
Not worth it. These guys are only out there for 2 things:
Money and Reputation.
Cos when your from the south side, that's the only 2 things thats gonna stop you from getting beat up

I wouldn't wanna be around him because I can go to jail for knowing that he does/sells drugs. Accessory to a crime. I'm not putting my life at risk.

I wouldn't even be friends with someone who took drugs. Even without the rest of the stuff.

I would be friends with him because I don't judge. But I am not sure about riding around with him and such because I would be afraid of him getting busted while I was with. I am a chicken when it comes to jail.
