yeah, especially in highschool. everyone is so caught up in trying to be who other people want them to be and not who they are. i hate it when i see one of those "fake" girls trying to put on a front and make everyone think shes something shes not.
it breaks my heart to know that there are people out there who have such low selfesteme that they have to do that to make friends.

I think everyone does at some point in their lives. Humans are such frail creatures that just want to be loved, feel special & be accepted. Everyone cares the same thing.

I am always myself and so many people hate on me for it. I never feel left out though, cause atthe same time loads of ppl wanna be around me all the time. I have an awesome social life, love to party, love my friends, have lots of guy and girlfriends, so being yourself is my number one rule. Anybody who has a problem doesn't wanna mess with me, you gotta fight for the right you know

Very much. At school everyone has their group of friends, but I don't. I try to be myself but I guess no one likes me enough to be friends with me. It's probably because I never talk...but I don't have anything in common with people at my school anyway...

well i dont wana sound big headed but i hang round with to different groups of people
what some people like to call the"popular" crowd and the "nice smart" girls the popular girls are some of the nicest girls i ever met but i always feel left out when i'm with them
i really think it depends on how your friends are

I don't feel left out, i always try to find ways to find something better and funner to do :) So i avoid feeling left out. I rarely ever have moments when i do feel left out, but that's when my older sister goes out with her boyfriend instead of me

you have a point...maybe they're just scared that people won't like the real them...so it's kinda best to fit into whatever mole they think is acceptable
