You can re-key the current locks. A locksmith can do it or you can take the lock-set out and drive to your local hardware store and get them to do it.

Always re-key the locks. That way you know who has a key.

im purchasing a home from a super nice couple, and im changing the locks. you never know, so why take the chance?

Doesn't matter who you buy a house from - even the builder! Have the locks re-keyed, or change them.
