Wake Me Up When September Ends by Greenday is one, though I've never really been able to figure out just what it's about.

Half A Week Before The Winter by Vanessa Carlton is great. The CD that this comes from, Harmonium, is NOTHING like her song A Thousand Miles, which is sadly what everyone knows her for. Try it, look up the lyrics, find a sample on amazon.com of the song. I love her music, she got me into getting piano lessons.

Good luck with your search.

There's several that focus on leaves falling in autumn, and use that as a general metaphor. Try "Leaves that are Green" by Simon and Garfunkel or "autumn Leaves" by Ella Fitzgerald.
