You can find bettas in lots of shades of purple, either solid or mixed with white, red, or blue. Very pretty!
Please also, when you choose a fish species, do some resarch on what size tank, temperature, tank mates, etc you need to keep the fish happy and healthy.
Good luck!

we own a pet shop and a few varieties of cichlids or guppies *** in purples. I would also reccomend trying to get a siamese fighting fish. You can get them in hundreds of different colours but the only problem is that you can only ever by one unless you buy a fish tank that has several dividers in it. Fighting fish dont need pumps or airstones or heaters. The ones at our ppet shop are living in vases. As long as they can breath at the surface all you really need to do is feed them and clean them out. unless they get a disease

Purple guppies are somewhat new in the hobby. Here are some photos of the color variations: mosaic purple: http://www.arihood.com/azgenetics/guppyimages/gallery/mosaicpurplemulti.jpg

You might be able to find lavender gouramis (a color variation of a blue, or three-spot gourami), but these are larger fish with a semi-aggressive personality.
There are also purple/lavender strains of bettas, even though these aren't a "recognized" color:

You might find some purples of various species on this link: http://www.aquabid.com/
Unfortunately the best of the purple fish are found in saltwater:
