Hi, Sorry to anyone who answered my last question I put shell instead of Egg.....I just want to know if it will fall off eventualy and usually how long does it take? and can you feed them or should i just let it be..its outside anyways, hes in the garden now.

Yes it will fall off.Your best bet is to just leave it alone and it will take care of itself.They have been doingso for longer then humans.It is estamated that only 1 in 100 will survive to adulthood.But with millons of eggs layed they will be here for a long time.
