I think I need to replace the TPS on my car it has a rough idle, and poor acceleration, feels like it may stall. I tried the front two O2 sensors not the back O2 yet, also the EGR valve, and the MAS sensor. Check engine is on and pulls bank one and two lean, and auxilary emmisions control, and sometimes EGR. Problem I am having with the TPS is it look like it is riveted in and I can't seem to find it at AutoZone or Advanced. Please help.

The tps (throttle position sensor) may be part of your problem and maybe not. Ignore the previous diagnosis by mayday, it is all wrong. You don't mention any misfire codes and misfires result in a RICH mixture not lean. NEVER replace any part till you know the problem. The lean mixture is a fuel problem. Maybe low fuel pressure or dirty injectors. The other codes all started from the lean condition. A lean fuel code will set an o2 code. An o2 fault code does not mean change the sensor. As with all fault codes they do not indicate a part failure. You have another sensor that affects idle, the idle air control, it is located at the throttle body near the tps sensor. Not sure what a MAS sensor is. NEVER replace any part till you know the problem.

not to sound stupid, but did you do the basics yet? spark and fuel? if you have a misfire because of a bad plug or wire, etc.. your idle will be rough, you will have no power, your o2 will read lean and your emissions will be all out of limits.. start with the basics before replacing more sensors. check your vacuum lines for any major leaks or broken lines.. check for any other major vacuum leaks such as a intake manifold gasket.. this is all easy stuff to check and can be a real money saver in the end.. feel free to email me back with results if you like, and i will write back if i can help any further
