I have two red ear slider turtles, Is there any markings to look for or ways to tell if they are female or male?

Both are over 4inches long one does have short claws and the other has long ones. One is more round the other is more oval.

Ok, males have longer claws then females and the males also havea longr tail. Females when full grown are bigger than the males and they have a short tail and claws.
