hey guys,well i really don't understand all of the what hurts the most music video by rascall flatts i know in the beginning she's all mad and sad that her dad told her bf to leave and everything, but what is the mom crying about? and why is she crying in class? please explain the whole thing if you can. The girl was in love with the boy knowing her father disproved of it. She had a conversation with him in his truck about what he saw in his future and when he answered her, tht was all she needed to hear to make her happy and she exited the truck before answering him back. (Hard to tell in the video if he even got the question out before the door closed or not but the ending makes you believe she did hear it and just did not answer) When he drove off, got in an accident and died, she blamed her father and was deeply hurt not only because he died but because she never told him how that she saw him as her future. She tried to continue on her daily life but couldn't bear to be in class with his empty desk beside her so she left and went home. Devestated, she is physically ill and her mother is torn up because of the pain she is going through.

She's mad at her dad because her dad made her boyfriend leave, he got in a car wreck on his way home and died, that is why she's crying in class and why her mom's crying, and the conversation they were having in the car where he was like "What do you see in the future" after she asked him, he had said I see you, but she never answered, that's why she runs to the cross at the side of the rode and said I saw you.
The lyrics are about lost love, it pretty much tells the story itself

B/C there is fighting between her daughter and husband.
She remembers all the good times before the boyfriend died in the crash. and she is now pregnant with no dad to help raise the child. She misses him so.
