I love fortune cookies, but I don't base my life on them. Most of the time, they're just for fun. If there's no fortune, take the cookie back and get a new one?

It means that the machine at the fortune cookie factory skipped a cookie and yours didn't get the little piece of paper with the random nonsense printed on it.

one of 2 things....you have no fortune or they forgot to put the fortune in the cookie. I think the first one is more accurate.

Bad luck :

2. Too many people dislike with what u got.
