Can someone convert from straight to gay?

Is a gay always a gay , could he be straight at some point in time and now convert to a gay. Can a straight guy convert into a gay .

Interesting question. I have known people that were supposedly straight to suddenly become gay, but never the other way around. I believe that an individual has to be born gay, and that it's not something that they can change. Studies show that gay people are born with an additional chromosome that adds feminine or masculine characteristics and accounts for their sexual preference. For example: while we are born with XY chromosomes for male and XX for female, an individual can have XX with a latent y chromosome or XY with another latent x chromosome. This is what some scientist and genealogist account for homosexuality as a biological factor. That's something that cannot be altered or changed just by deciding not to be gay anymore.
