1.) Can someone help me Evaluate the following expression?
[-27+14]

2.) Also, is this TRUE of FALSE?
[-8] + [3] = [-8+3]

What do your square brackets mean?

If they mean absolute value, then [-27 + 14] = 13, and
[-8] + [3] = 8 + 3 = 11, while [-8 + 3] = [-5] = 5.

If they are just ordinary symbols of inclusion like parentheses, then the previous answer is correct.
