Second time Im going to ask this question... About Masturbation...?

Last question I made, I got mixed reviews of masturbation being a good or bad thing.

For those catholics who think it is a sin, I dont need your opinion as I am an athiest. Im almost 16.

I want to see if its damaging to do masterbation. What is the cons of masterbation etc if there is any. If any put down masterbation, tell in more detail why? Will it affect my health in any way etc... Please, be more elaborate than just... ITS BAD!

i am even more confused. What do you mean I wont go after girls any more. Ill become more gay? Why is this so hard... I have sexual urges, im 16, either I wait two years and lose my virginity, or I can masturbate.

Relax. Religoius beleifs aside,masturbation is a normal, helathy part of life. It is said that 99% of men admit to masturbating, the other 1% are lying. So relax. And I don't think I have ever heard of any bad health affections from it, other than maybe a bit of chafing if you do it too often. Oh,and as for the religious side of things, they only give you a hard time because in the bible it says "It is better that a man's seed should take root in the belly of a whore than spilled upon the ground" Does that mean the bible is telling us we should all go out and find whores? I am sure the same religious people telling you masturbation is a sin willalso tell you it is wrong to sleep with a whore. Have fun and play safe.

i`d suggest for u to get a girl instead...but anyhow,back to the topic, no masturbation is fine...no such questions as "how many times" or "how hard"...and no...no matter what u do, u are not going to "damage your shaft"...that`s just pathetic, in fact the harder u do it..the stronger your shaft will get, and just keep in mind that your never too obsessed with it, as it may drive u insane....also remember that masturbating is an art of a child...the better u get at it now, the better sex u`ll have when you r grown up-and no, there`s no age for that either-u can have sex even now if u want- hope that ends your trauma.

okay masturbating has its positives and negatives.

positives: releases the proverbial "blue balls" feeling, allows one to learn their sexual prowess and stamina, and level.

negative: can lead to self-absorbtion, self-abuse, self-centered. one gets satisfication and doesn't seek it in a partner.
depletes a man's energy physically and spiritually (although you're an athiest just hear my point and forget it later) God made us to share sex (it's a gift from Him) with someone and to not share takes something away from us.
depletes a man's "yang" energy.
depletes physically addendum: need to replace Men's Minerals with Zinc, L-Argine, Magnesium, Vitamin E, Pumpkin seeds (raw or capsules).

It is not bad but you should do it with clean hands as it is possible to get an infection if they are dirty. Also don't go at it so hard that you damage your shaft. That is possible and will then lead to scar tissue growing that can pull it sidways.
