My thyroid has taken years to get under control and still isnt right, and hormone production is at 100 (I am a man).
I have an appointment with an endorcinologist (is that the spelling?)
Anyone else have probs like this? Tell me your story please.
What can I expect at the Endocrinologist office?

It is good that you have an appointment with an endrocrinologist, as this problem is well beyond the mutual-help capabilities of this site.

Your doctor will examine you carefully and run a number of blood tests to try to diagnose your problem. It sounds like it may be an autoimmune disorder, and prednisone may be the only way to deal with it, but this is for your doctor to decide. I wish you much luck -- your situation sounds most distressing. I am guessing that you may have autoimmune problems since that is the most common cause of thyroid deficiencies and some other glandular problems such as Type 1 diabetes.
