Recovering Files From The Recycle Bin
Double click on the Recycle Bin icon on the Desktop to open it.
Gently click on the file you want to restore until it becomes highlighted.
Then click on the word File, which is contained in your top tool bar area.
This will pull down a menu for you to now click on the word Restore.
The file will now be restored back to the exact location it was accidentally deleted from.
Now close the Recycle Bin window to return back to your windows session.
Note: You can also select the file you want to recover by holding the left mouse button on it.
Then you can pull it out of the Recycle Bin by dragging it directly onto the Windows Desktop.
Note: This Technical Brief Will Work For All Operating Systems Including Windows XP.

If you are sure it was deleted, yes, you can recover it. Even if it was deleted by a trojan, there is still a chance of recovery. Files are not completely deleted until they are written over, and even then, if you try hard enough, you can restore the deleted object. I suggest this program to restore it: Restorer. When looking at the file names, remember that some files are renamed when deleted/moved to the recycle bin (Dc*.filetype, etc...).

You need a file undelete utility. Look for a free one on the Internet. I like Resoration because it is simple. Don't wait too long. The longer you wait the more like Windows is to overwrite the data you want.

You have to locate that file ( forensics labs use a special program to locate files) they are not permanently deleted , they are on your HDD, but difficult to locate
