Sorry, I would if I could.
If you have an eBay account try selling some stuff. I have overbid on items to help charities in eBay auctions before.

If it was a small amount of money, then I would forget it as the stress it would cause trying to get it back would not be worth it. But if it was a lot of money, I would see a solicitor, you should be able to get it free if you don't have a lot of money in your bank. Send him a letter outlining why you gave him the money and tell him if he does not pay you all the money owed you are taking him to court, and save any reply you get from him. Did he sign any paperwork when you gave him the cheque or did you just write a cheque out to him, as you may need proof it wasn't a gift. Never ever lend money to anyone. It can ruin friendships.

Is your bank unable to offer you a loan? I'd love to help but I don't have that kind of money at 17. I do hope you get what you need, I'll pray for your family if you'd like.

Are you for real? No one in there right mind is going to loan a stranger $1500. Try getting a job or an extra job, preferably with health benefits if you really need the money.
But I think your a scammer and not a good one at that.

You'd be much better off borrowing from a friend or getting a cash advance on a credit card or from your employer than trying to get a loan here. Anyone who offers you a loan (or a link to click) will be trying to scam you. Don't fall for them!

If they offer you a loan here, that act proves they are NOT trustworthy. Violating YA rules is NOT something legitimate lenders do.
