Cairo... the armpit of Africa... lies in Egypt.
Been there. Really wanted to enjoy the place. Spent three weeks there, but really had few good experiences and many bad...
Getting to the pyramids is a like running a gauntlet of scammers and people trying to bilk you out of your money. You'd think the biggest tourist attraction in the world would have like a visitor's center and a structured touring schedule. All there is are contracting "merchants" who are nothing more than street hawkers who actually tousle eachother for your business.
Walking through city streets all we heard were cat calls to my wife... "Mister! sell me your woman! I pay you a lot of money for your woman!" Constantly. Flattering at first, but it got old fast.
What a cesspool...

egypt. it is in the north of africa. the population is mediterranean, i e., not dark african, but light brown like the italians and the greeks. the culture is arab and muslim. there are christians who enjoy freedom of practicing their religion. it isnt too cold or hot. has mild climate.the fruits and veggies are mediterranean . there are lots of palm trees.
will you come over to see it ?
