Sorry. I know I recently posted a question and believe me I am def. not trying to not do this homework assignment, its over 35 questions long and some of them are REALLY long (not just fill in the blanks) ..so I still have pleanty to do on my own.

always.

If you add water to acid the solution will get very hot and bubble and you risk getting acid splashed on you (not good, especially if the acid you are diluting is of high concentration)

This applies to conc acid - it doesn't matter about dilute.

This is really important as if you add water to the conc acid, it can come over the sides of the beaker and cause injury.

Get teacher to give a demo.

My chem teacher did nearly 50 yrs ago and I still remember

The golden rule of acids: ALWAYS ADD ACID...the answer would be add acid to water. It will splatter if you were to add water to acid
