Me, obviously.
Humans are greedy so we'd probably all take the money. The homeless person could do something stupid with all the money like waste it all on booze and drugs and where would that get him? Back on the streets, thats where.
If I, on the other hand, got the money, I know I would give some to the homeless man, then give a portion of it to homeless shelters, to help people who need it, instead of giving it to a man which you'd have absolutely no idea what he would do the money.

If the three of us were standing together (the person offering, the homeless person and myself) and the decision was entirely up to me as to who got the money, I would take it and hand $500,000 over to the homeless person. Do I need a million dollars? No, but it would be nice. Does the homeless person need a million dollars? No, but I'm sure he would like it too. So, in my heart, I know that sharing it would be the right thing to do.

I'd take it for myself and then go split it with the homeless person. I would say give it to the homeless person but then they might run off with it all, lol
This way we are both taken care of because in reality no one person really needs a whole million dollars to themselves if they handle it right.

I'm with starry-eyez and B. I'd get the million, then help out the homeless. No reason why we both can't have some, cause I know that homeless person isn't giving me anything
:-) I promise I'm not a horrible person, just practical.

Me. I could then manage it properly, and donate plenty to the homeless man and charities.
The homeless man, for whatever reason, hasn't managed his financial situation so far. Simply handing him one million dollars won't change that.
I know someone who was given land by family. Sold the land, burnt through the cash and within one year were in the same position they had been in before. I actually know several cases where that happened. So, I'm not being a complete jerk. :)

i do no longer provide to human beings working the streets. I actual have earlier, yet i began out noticing that the comparable human beings have been "working" the comparable intersections with the comparable indications: "automobile broke down, want money to get domicile to California." And the "will artwork for nutrients" human beings incredibly won't, they're playing that solid human beings will merely provide them money. My church presented a guy money if he could perform a little backyard artwork at our church. He had a hundred clarification why he could no longer. needless to say he nonetheless needed the money. No, i do no longer think it is the government's place to shield the homeless. every time the government is in contact, it finally ends up being a extensive snafu and is in no way interior of your funds. i think of households and church homes and the interior maximum sector could desire to shield this. I constantly provide to the Salvation military and Feed the youngsters, so i've got faith gentle with my charitable giving. most of the homeless in my neck of the woods are homeless by way of fact they desire to be.

Why not say "me" and then split it with the homeless person, or better yet donate it to a shelter so you don't have to worry about it being used on booze or drugs. Yeah, that would make more sense. So if you have a million dollars burning a hole in your pocket then head over to the local shelter and donate it, don't even offer it to anyone else.
