Hard to say. There's been so many times.
Any of my childhood years while I was being abused or neglected
When my mother moved out of the apartment a month before I turned 18 and said the rent is paid for for another month, goodbye
Running out of the house I was renting a room in late at night with nothing more than my purse and my hamster (just the hamster, not even the cage) after being assaulted and nearly smothered by the landlord's son
When I was in the hospital for 6 weeks with a fractured back because my boyfriend had fallen asleep at the wheel, 3 days after I had just started my first post-high school job and two days after I had been assaulted by my landlord's son
When I was abandoned by my child's father without warning when I was 8 months pregnant. The electricity had been shut off because he hadn't paid his share and I was given an eviction notice because he hadn't been paying his share. When the bank statement came I also discovered he had stolen $50
Living in a sleezy moldy dangerous battered women's shelter with a baby while being put through he** in family law court by an abusive evil liar in a system that favors fathers no matter what and despises mothers no matter what
Right now, as I realize that despite going into $69,000.00 in student loan debt for an undergrad and grad degree, I will never catch up with inflation, never own anything free and clear, and will never be safe or secure.

This time last year when my Dad told me he had about 3 weeks to live. and he did just that He died of Cancer and I think he knew just how much time he had left. I never left his side, but the time is getting ready to hit me again. I keep replaying those last few weeks in my head. Miss him a lot.

Things are pretty rough right now.
I'd have to say when I had a four month old baby and my husband was sent away to prison (that was pretty bad).
