So obviously i have no idea what speed i would be going or how far i have travelled? What is the problem? Any idea how too fix this so that my spedometer speed & odometer lights up.

you have a blown bulb in the instrument cluster, sometimes you can reach them from under the dash and other times you have to take out the complete gauge package to get at them.

you have the problem that plauged chevy's for a few years. They used a copper "strip" to conduct electricity from gauge to gauge behind the dash, instead of wires. As you can see it doesn't work well. Sometimes it is the lightbulb itself for each gauge, but either way, it is a major job to pull the dash loose to fix it. I hate electrical in cars so much, that I stopped working on it myself and pay the extra money to let the shop do it for me. Good luck

its one of 3 things

1. the dimmer switch is bad approx. $50
2. the bulbs have blown pull the dash and check the bulbs approx. $2 per bulb
3. ur gauge wiring harness is bad approx. whole hell of alot *(dealer work)
