A new device that telemarketers have does this. It dials 10 people at the same time, however it only connects to the first person to pick up. The other people get hung up on.
I hate those, but they are very popular now.

If it happens every day about the same time...prolly one of those computer telemarketers....next time don't answer...let your machine pick it up. Then play it back...bunches of time. Even at first if you think there is nothing but static on the line. Some times its not. Also try to visit some of the websites that have evps on them. Try to find a class c evp...they are not so plain and have alot of background noise..but if you listen you can hear something different.

I know this one because I'm sorry to admit that I worked as a telemarketer briefly. The computer is dialing the next number before you are even finished with the call you are on. It was even annoying for me because just as you are saying hello, hello?, I'm doing the same. Needless to say, that job didn't last long, I now work at the school.

I believe that ghost can manipulate electrical items. It really can be a ghost. Try another phone. If it keeps happening call the phone company may be something is wrong with the wiring. If it still continues after this ask neighbors if they r experiencing problems. If they r not then start thinking ghost.

oftentimes tell them civilly that i'm no longer fascinated. I did some telemarketing years in the past and that i became attempting to make an trouble-free residing only like the subsequent guy. it truly is a annoying, thankless job and it is depressing. i do no longer ought to make absolutely everyone's life extra depressing.

It is probably the telemarketer speed dialer, but it could also be thieves checking to see if anyone is home. (Just thought I'd insert a note of paranoia!)

my phone does that too, but it is probably just a telemarketer or a faulty phone system

I know you are just kidding here, but it illustrates the investigative method of many ghost hunters--when it doubt, it's a ghost.
