it looks like this

when lookin on the backside of my comp tower, it looks like this

X --- video card
Empty
Empty
X --- Sound card
Empty
X --- Ethernet Card



the problem is, the fan is on the top, so i was thinking of putting it on top of the video card, but theres no slot. and i cant move the video card, so if i put it under the video card would this be okay?

First post is right. Since that is an exhaust fan, it works best at the highest level in the case. Unfortunately, the PCI backpanel openings are all below the mid level of the case. They would have been more effective as intake fan opening, especially the bottom one.

Under the video card is OK as there is no place above it. The higher the better because heat rises.
