just as accurate as the expensive tests to a certain extent....if you are looking for like 7 days before your missed period, then the cheap one prolly wont work....if you are seriously late, the cheap one will tell you just as well as the expensive one....the dollar store tests are mostly just old fashioned, which is why they are cheaper....at our dollar store, they have the pee in a cup and then dip the stick test, which has totally become obsolete these days, but they will detect the hCG just the same.

They're actually more sensitive than those high dollar brands. Most people get a positive test result with those before they do with other brands, like Clear Blue Easy.

it just as accurate as any store , they all are not 100 % accurate ,1$ are just cheaply made .. if it was me I just go to the doctor if you think you might be PG , or go to a free clinic and take one of there test !

Accurate enough to tell you if you need to make an appointment with an OB-GYN for a test to confirm it.

Well, if it comes up positive, then you can run out to the pharmacy and buy a 15 dollar one... OR, you can just trot down to Planned Parenthood and get a free one. :-) You even get to pee in a cup! It's super fun.... NOT!

All of them are pretty much the same - they are looking for HCG hormone. It's just more about the marketing than anything (like Motrin vs generic ibuprofen).
Other signs to look for are:
* are you late
* are you sick to your stomach
* tender breasts
* unusual cravigns
