Wish I had a sister to give me one. However tell her the money should go to help children who don't have even a blanket to keep warm. A quilt takes a long time to make and it has alot of heart into it. I've been cold in the winter and got quilts for Christmas ment more to me than anything. Every time I would cover up I would think of the person who gave it to me. It's her loss.

Wow one quilt for $275!!! if you did that as a side business you could make some good money!!!
But that was rude of her a gift is a gift and it comes from the heart. i always keep whatever people give me no matter if i like it of not. i would never sell something that someone gave me!!!!!!

I think quilts make great gifts, at least I hope so because I sometimes make and give them, if someone sold one I made them it'd be the last thing I made for them. Sorry but I think that's tacky.

i appreciate things more that people take their time and effort to make for me much more than store bought things. my best xmas ever was when my nieces and nephews did their shopping at a 99 cent only store because they didn't have a lot of money. i loved everything they picked out for me because they thought of me and picked things they knew i would use. your sis in law isn't worth the thought you put into it!

yeah, i think that would be a great gift. that was kind of mean for her to do that. if nothing else that should have sentiment since it came from a family member. next time just buy her something. i would be mad if it were me. i imagine you put a lot of time into that. good luck.

What a b*tch. I hope it was at least a charity auction
A LOT of time goes into a gift like that. People should appreciate that.
