Nowhere in the qur'an does it say light moves at 300,000 kilometers per second, or anything about light moving at some definite speed. It says only things about angels moving and time for the angels being different. Any attempt at interpreting that as referring to the speed of light is reading something into the text that is not there, which is blasphemy I believe.

At the time when religious texts (Qur'an, Bible, etc.) were written, there was no scientific understanding of the speed of light or other galaxies or anything like that by the writers.
Even if the Word was from a Higher Power, humans still had to interpret the Word and write it down, so they wrote what they understood at that time.
So, no.

Qur'an 32:5 ,
Einstein's theory of speed of light in vacuum: 288,792.458km/sec is equivalent with what it is said in Qur'an.
Please remember that it is clearly mention in Qur'an that angel is not in a form of humans with wings (girls w wings).
It is clearly said that whoever think that angels are in a form of girls with wings is a silly imagination. It's just a made up or dreams. (something like that).
They DONT THINK.
Instead, angels are low density creatures which originally from light.
So I think, as Qur'an ALWAYS say :THINK , I believe that speed of light IS : IN QUR'AN.
Sure, lots of people started by : just blindly believe in it; but as times go by, for those who THINK, they are pleased, as it reveals to be factual.
I find even daily life factuals happened to me according to what is said in Qur'an. That is why, I really believe that Muhammad s.a.w. is a "special" man .
What also amazing is, the affect of reading Qur'an, it can sometimes shake me with power, it's a miracle. I dont know about you, but that's what happened to me.
( I hope you understand my English)
