Whisper power filter?????

Question

I have a 30 gallon tank. Im only going to fill it up a little above half way for my baby red eared slider turtle. WHich whisper power filter should i get from walmart 10,20,or 30???? The 30 is 20bucks but if i dont need the 30 ill get a cheaper one such as the 17dollar 20 and the 12 dollar 10.

an internal filter is the best way to go, like the following one

I have one myself for my turtles, and it works absolutely great
I refill the carbon about once a month, you don't have to buy seperate cartridges because you can refill them yourself

they are somewhere between $10-20 at petsmart

Also don't forget that you will need a basking place for them

as well as a heater specially made for them for the months of Oktober to April

A Whisper is a hang on the back filter. The intake pipe isn't going to reach all the way to the halfway point of your tank... Really, for animals as messy as turtles, you should have at least a 30 for 15 gallons of water, but a 40 would be the best...

You would need at least a 30 gallon turn over rate filter for a 30 gallon so the 30 would be good.
