LIVING IN AN APT. W/ A DISABLED MAN. LANDLORD IS SELL NOW. DUPLEX! HE WANT TO INTERUPT OUR LIVES WHENEVER HE CAN HAVE SOMEONE SEE THE PLACE NOW . WE HAD TOLD THEM NO ONE COMES IN UNLESS SOMEONE IS HOME NOW THERE SAYING THERE COMMING IN TOMORROW AT 1PM . I JUST TIRED OF BEING NICE AND PEOPLE TRAMPELING IN MY HOME !!!!!!!

Out of courtesy the LL should respect your wishes as this showing is not an emergency. They should also give 24 hour notice. There is not much you can do unless you: 1) take him to court over a silly matter 2) call the housing authority 3) try code enforcement or the sheriff's office as they might be able to help you

He can't come in without notifying you. If he is selling, he will need to show the place and needs to set a time with you. You should look at rental laws for the city and state you live in.

It depends where you live, you could probably complain to a tenant board, but a landlord is usually required to give you 24 hours written notice before entering your apartment.

No it is not polite, and may not be legal according to lease. You may want to address it before it continues. You are entitled to privacy.

In NJ I have to give tenants 24hrs notice
