the only for sure way to know is to get an xray. people say that if you can bend it, it is broken, but thats not always true. i would go to the doc. you will be glad you did.

You have it x-rayed at the hospital or clinic. Or at least have it evaluated by a medical professional.

I fell off a ladder once years ago, and smacked my elbow hard on the floor. It was sore, and got worse as the night went on. My wife finally made me go to the doctor. Guess what - the x-ray showed a hairline fracture.

You can't evaluate it yourself. If you think it could be broken, have it looked at.

As much as I hate going to the doctor, they do have a device called an x-ray machine and it can get a good look at your bone to tell if it's broken.
I'm sorry about your arm.
