I don't know how many times I stubbed my toe misjudging distances even w/ my arms outstretched. Did you ever pretend?

i did that, and i also pretended i was a deaf/mute so i didnt have to hear my parents :)

I totally forgot about doing that until I saw your question, but yeah, I used to do that a lot ...
it was expecially exciting going downstairs, you never knew if you'd make it down alive or not ....
oh man, one time I was doing it out in the yard and was trying to find my house (it was a big house too! lol) and wound up clear over to the fence on the other side of the yard! I hope my neighbors weren't watching, I can only imagine what they would have been thinking .... hehe

Yeah, I would pretend I was blind. It made me realize what a precious gift sight is. It was hard not to run into things. It was scary too.

I did it when my mom walked me home from school, too, it drove her crazy and after a while she just let me run into the poles until I stopped.

also i still do this:
when im in the car and its raining or in the shower i have races with the water drops. lol :]
