Spend $15 on a voltmeter and check the battery voltage while the car is running. If it's 12 volts, the alternator isn't going. If it's 14, the alternator is OK.
It's not the computer. There's a small wire to the alternator that needs to have 12 volts on it for the alternator to work. If that's bad or not connected, there's your problem.

Start the car, remove the postive terminal from the battery, if the car stays running, the alternator and or wiring is good. If the car dies then the alternator is bad. Some elecrtrical parts will have a false positive meaning they show good when they are bad. The only way to know for sure is by putting the device under a load. When putting a coil, starter, or an alternator under a load, the windings expand causing the miniature crack in the wiring to actually open up and cause the fault.

Check the wiring to the regulator, to the battery,to the alternator,to the ground.

If all else fails take it to the dodge dealership and have the work on it
