No I daren't the neighbours would only moan that they could hear it, you can't breathe too loud without them complaining, and I thought your hearing got worse when you got that old, not theirs though! Oh well if they don't like hearing the TV they'll just have to put up with listening to the sounds of unbridled passion, perhaps that'll cheer them up you never know!!

not to block the neighbours but i dont like hearing unexplainable noises esp. at night - i have realised that a lot of the time when i have the TV on, its to drown out those noises

My husband uses it as a sound blocker to everything around him. He never answers once the tv goes on.

Yes, when my parents are doing the freaky freaky next door, I turn my tv up. I'm tired of hearing my mom moan like a ghost.

No, I can't stand ambient noise..hehee. Imagine being "at it" and all the senokot adverts come on, or the kid on the loo with no air freshener...mind you, I guess the "Bongs" on the news at ten would be RAther timely.
The neighbours will be banging on the wall, and you'd be banging back.

Yes if the neihbours are in their garden when we are we put a radio on so we cant hear them and they cant hear us

No,that would be worse not better. I use a loud 24-inch fan for white noise.

Yes I leave it on for the dog, he likes t owatch the cartoon netwrok and it covers his very loud BARK!

nope. let 'em hear. we use a fan to block out outside noise, though. cant hear anything outside our house and thats how we like it. sleep better, too.
