Did i get a virus??

Question

on my laptop i got this udate think for my security and it kept bugging me so i said fine..update. after i clicked everything dissapeared except my desktop background i cant even right click. everytime i start it up it goes to an empty desktop. no items no bar at the bottom. i tried looking for explorer.ex in the taskbar but it wasnt there. any help?? thanks!!

You THINK? You should KNOW what you are updating. Only update that of what you are sure should be updated.

It is not a virus I think. This is malware.
