tell em why you can't make it, and no its not a stab in the back, if its a onlive draft prerank your players, if its not find someone to draft for you but give them a list of ur top 200 players. or have em call you on your cell phone.

You can pre-rank your players, and your team will be drafted with you getting the player you have ranked highest at the time it's your choice. The biggest problem here is that the automatic drafting doesn't take positions into account, so you could end up with a glut at one position depending on your rankings.
I'd really try to make the draft if at all possible, but it's not the end of the world.

if it's a live Yahoo draft, just pre-rank your players and Yahoo will do the drafting for you.

apologize and be ready to take a lot of crap from those ur playing with. Its a real stab-in-the-back when u dont show up
