You're fine mixing them.
Don't let the tire people talk you into replacing all four. They will tell you that you need to replace all four tires, especially if you have a 4WD or AWD vehicle, and that's hogwash.

the tire does not could desire to be the comparable kind, greater substantial than the kind is making specific it has an actual tread trend and the tire conforms to the load score of the others. in the experience that your tires are greater effective than 50% warn and you have a front wheelchronic you may desire to replace 2 tires and positioned he 2 new tires on the front of the automobile. no count if it incredibly is four wheelchronic and the tires are greater effective than 50% supply you with a warning could be able to desire to interchange all 4 or run the prospect of unfavorable your four wheelchronic gadget. take a image of your tire and look at the tread trend for something close, you may get a robust value on a save kind tire like those pep boys sell and that they are made for them by ability of a substantial tire producer. you will be able to additionally attempt a salvage backyard they could have a tire from a automobile like yours that has been in a crash.

Tires should all be of the same size that the manufacturer recommends, and front and rear tires should be matched for tread wear, but manufacturer is relatively insignificant.
Of course, Tread Type (you don't want to mix snow and all-weather, off-road and touring, etc) is important as well.
But if you need to replace only the front tires (most FWD cars wear these first, and if you don't rotate them regularly, they need replacing more often) just match size and tread type.

While you don't have to, it's optimal, especially with all-wheel or 4-wheel drive cars. If you do go 2-2, just make sure that the front 2 are the same and the back 2 are the same.

u can mix however u want them. i got 3 A-brand tires, and the fourth tire is a different tire altogether.
see, that's one of the reasons americans r dumb. y in the world would u replace two tires if only one is bad?....its like..if u have some disease on ur left arm and they have to cut it, would u also want ur right arm to be cut off?

I 've heard on all-wheel-drive cars you have to have all the same tred depth on the tires or it can cause problems. May want to see if this applies to you and if I'm right.

Answers above are good. But not so much the tire if its (black wall), its more the tread. If the tread is close, wont matter to much on rotating them.
