Yeah its true. I think they're both pretty good but Rihanna's is too overproduced unlike Mandy's version. What's up with people singing the cover of Umbrella these days?

as much as i think of Mandy Moore is a huge singer and actress and that i've got not something against her... i didnt incredibly like her conceal of 'Umbrella' i enjoyed Rihanna's version of it and that i merely think of that the slower, i assume greater 'soulfull' way Mandy Moore did it replaced into merely not suitable for the music. she had a great voice yet she could have accomplished something greater effective with the music.

I always did like mandy's voice but I just think that if your gonna copy somebodies song at least wait a few years. I mean remixs are on thing but this is totally different. But I wouldn't say better.

yeah she did, and its too slow. I dont like it. Dont get me wrong though, i love mandy moore, but i just dont like how she sings that song. Plus bad timing too.

I hate that song period. But it's funny how she pronounces all her words right, lol. She actually says Together and not togetha! LMAO! But, yeah it sounds like ****!

i liked it a lot. you can see her perform it with a band on yahoo music. it's a more earthy version. kind of like a mix between nora jones and jewel.
