Maybe try turning on the TV -- perhaps you have a video game paused and your character is getting clobbered.
If that's not it, maybe you have a vibrator under there? If that's the case, the batteries will probably just die. About 90% of the vibrations coming from under a bed are vibrators. It's a scientific fact.
