What is the word for a picture that has the same meaning as another pic, but they look totally different...like mother nature and a mother with a baby?

Valery used to say, "I write half the poem. The reader writes the other half." A picture is interpreted differently by each viewer. Perhaps you are talking about " art with replicative meaning"....
