Actually an author does not have to be dead to have his works published online; however, he and his publisher do have to authorize it.

John Grisham is a best selling author who makes his living this way.

The most you will be able to find online are snippets and book reviews. Go to Amazon if you want to purchase a used copy, or go to the library and borrow a copy.

Happy reading!

You can't. Until an author is dead 70 years, their work is protected by the Federal Copyright Act. They have the right to sell their work, not give it away free. If you want the book, buy it or try the library. Stealing books is illegal. You are breaking a Federal law. Pax - C
