they are still making music, darius rucker (the lead singer) has his own album, but the band is still making albums together...i love em!! they just aren't "popular" anymore

I loved their first CD. After that they kind of sucked. I heard that Darius Rucker (Hootie) just had some kind of major surgery but is recovering nicely.

I did to. But as wth every other band that has it's fifteen minutes of shame, they disappeared. You can probably find Hootie shining tires at your local car wash in LA.

They were at Wild Adventures Amusement Park
in Valdosta GA a couple of weekends ago.
I missed them. . I had other plans in S. Florida. :^(
