I think Pele as well just about because he was an amazing player who scored so many goals , amazing talent on the ball and the deadliest finisher the games ever seen imo the mans a legend. As well though he's a real role model to the kids and getting people into the game ,a player for the game that we can be proud of for the way he was and is and although this has no effect on his footballing talents it's something important to me personally that he could be that good and be lead a good life as well unlike his arguably 2 biggest rivals who where only role models on the pitch not off it as well.

I SUPPOSE THE FIRST 3 ANSWERERS WERE BORN YESTERDAY.
SIR STANLEY MATTHEWS FOR ME. HE LIVED AND COMPETED IN AN ERA OF OTHER FOOTBALL LEGENDS SUCH AS PUSKAS, YASHIN, DI STEFANO AND STILL REGARDED AS ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS EVER TO PLAY THE GAME.
