There's this guy that works with me that is ALWAYS saying crap to women. This morning, he had the NERVE to ask me, "Hey, how come you never have panty lines? Do you go commando?"
I replied with, "Dude, what goes on in MY pants is MY business, and I'd appreciate it if YOU would mind your OWN business!" >: (
I went and told the manager, and all he did was shake his head and say, "He knows better than that".......which I felt was a poor response, and didn't make me feel as though anybody is taking this guy seriously.
Ever had a problem like this, and how was it resolved?

Yes, back in the 70s and 80s sexual harassment was pretty common. Back then, nothing was done about it. Your manager is not handling the situation correctly. You may need to file a complaint with your local labor office.

As a guy, I never had the privilege to be sexually harassed. You have to begin documenting (write down his statements right in front of him), report him to your HR person. You have to have documentation. Your word against his or the fact you told your boss doesn't cut it. In fact, have a tape recorder on your desk, turn it on when you see him coming. If he asks what are you doing, tell him.

Yes it was awkward but he got a notice, not even fired which was very weird. But, then he did the same thing to another chick I worked with and she filed a complaint and he got fired after that. Tell your boss' boss if you're having a problem. You're boss can get in huge trouble if he ignores the situation. You shouldn't feel uncomfortable at work.

Nope. I'm a heavy set white guy. While I am probably a fetish somewhere on the internet, my co-workers have never had the urge to harass me. But, I am still hopeful.

Well, now, really. Guys like me, we try to toe the line because you'd turn us in if we said something like, "Hello". I know, 'cause I'm ugly. Brad Pitt could grope a woman naked and no one would hear about it. I' d LOVE to have your problem.
Now, when you get older, and no one notices you for all the pretty women you work with, admit it: you'll be depressed. When people at the liquor stores stopped carding me, I began to feel my age.

Yeah...I complained to my manager about a guy who was behaving very inappropriately towards me, and all that he would say was "maybe if you dress less provacatively it wouldnt be a problem..."
Okay, well...I wear a t-shirt and jeans to work, so I dont know how less provocative I can get...I guess I just need to wear a parka....
That really made me angry!

you need to call HR/human resources. if you don't have one, then you need to go the the highest level of authority and demand that something be done. at least get what happened today documented. the guy can lose his job, and so can your manager for not dealing with it.
