in the world-people who did bad things usually get a bad wrap-no matter what good they might have done before, after or amidst their heinous crimes. always in history, one side of a person's strory overshadows the other: its up to you to choose which side to derive any virtue from.

To try and answer this question we have to keep in mind that Hitler was human, just like the rest of us. I think no person is truly evil or truly good, we just have different views on the world and how it should be run. Hitler's view of the world was such that today we think of it as evil. But has anybody wondered what would have happened if Hitler won WW2? Hitler would be admired and considered the father of a new world culture. He did not invent the philosophy and morals by which he lived by. He was the acumulation of multiple philosophies and morals that where common during his time.
Just like any other philosophy or morals there are today, they all have pros and cons.
Keeping that in mind I add this: Winner write history. Since Hitler lost WW2 his faults as a human being where exposed to the world and exagereted (Not that his justifies genocide) while his virtues as a human being where never mentioned. By exposing the faults of your enemy (in this case Hitler) to the masses it's easier to have the masses focus on those instead of looking back and question.
This holds true for both side during WW2. The Allied forces where displaied as a decadent culture who had no higher purpose in history. Japan portraied the American forces as a culture with no values, honor and bravery. This points out that if Japan or Germany had won WW2 Hitler would have been considered the founding father of the new world culture while Truman's decision to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki with a nuclear bomb would be considered barvaric, unciviliced and unesessary.
Winners get to write history, and winner don't like to brag about how viruous the loser was.

For starters, Hitler could not have a Jewish woman. Sex with "untermenschen" was a crime in Nazi Germany; quite a few otherwise faithful Nazis were put away for it after the Crystal Night.
As to why people remember Hitler "in a bad light", the answer is sort of obvious, really; Adolf Hitler was the chief architect of a brutal tyranny. His deeds in that capacity speak much louder than his personal traits...

These are very easy questions at this time, with a little insight.
He didn’t like smoking, because it bothered him. He was sensitive to smoke. I think he believed no one should smoke if he didn’t.
He was a vegetarian because he was part of the occult. It is believed that the members of the occult avoid meat to raise the levels of consciousness in the mind. The vegetable diet is known to be normal diet of the occult.

Wow,the good out ways the bad in your opinion?
Who is to say weather I can smoke or not, Hitler? this anti smoking thing is just another way to oppress.
Family values? Who is to say that the family is the way we were meant to procreate.
Maybe he would have been a better person without the positive attributes you affix to his name.

because the fact that he was responsible for the genocide of 6 million innocent jews overshadows the anti-smoking and vegetarianism...not to mention his contribution to the spread of communism in other European nations and the grief he caused the entire world during WWII. Besides killing millions of innocents during the "final solution", he is ultimately responsible for the deaths of all the soldiers who came from different countries to try to stop him from polluting Europe with his communist ideals.
the intense, unadulterated hatred he had for jews takes precedence over his family values. he was a horrible person who was responsible for the violent, even sadistic deaths of millions of innocent people, even if he didnt smoke or eat meat.

It's not hard to be faithful to your wife when you both commit suicide the day after the wedding, is it?
And he treat her like manure until then- kept her in the background, beat her, most people didn't know she existed. His previous girlfriend was his niece, Geli Raubal, who killed herself with his pistol. As for the smoking, "even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while" as they say.
And then there's the little war he started that cost 50 million people their lives.

1. Because he undid them (most of them) while he moved deeper into insanity.
2. Because he committed horrific crimes against humanity.
3. Because he is a defeated enemy.
4. Because, in an ultimate act of cowardice, he committed suicide.
5. Because most of the "advancements in science" etc Germany achieved during his reign of terror was done so at the cost of human suffering and human life.
