i have an ipod video (30 GB). something is wrong with it. the screen is all messed up and its from the inside. it takes up like half of the screen and its completely blank, and on the left side it has this multi-colored...thing...is there any way to fix it and make my screen completely visible again? i also tried reseting it, let it die and charge it, plug it in my pc, and none of that seems to work. and im just wondering, is there another option i can do besides taking it to the apple store and just fix it manually?

if it's under 1 year the Apple warranty will cover it. If it's over that & you do not have an extended warenty you might as well buy a new one 'cause it will cost about $150-$200 to fix!

Sounds like it was dropped or something. Needs to go back to the Apple store.
