your right we should come home, and then let them attack us on our soil, that will preserve freedom real smart there.

There are several members of Al-Quieda there, remember them the ones who were responsible for attacking us.
Do you remember people harboring terrorists are just as responsible, any of that ringing a bell?? Just like we may have to deal with Iran later on.

They didn't ask us but a lot of them were happy we were, they had an Iraqi news station on C-Span, and they seemed happy we were there, sure you will find ABC & CNN will find the people who aren't happy we are there and put them on TV, that is called agenda setting and is a form of bias.

I think they are happy that they don't live under an opressive dictator and can go to schools and movies of their choice as well as feel free once the U.S. and our allies drive out the insurgents and terrorists from the area.

People always conveinently forgot that Dems like Clinton, Kerry, Kennedy, Boxer, Pelosi, Reid, and alot of those who oppose the war are the same people who voted for it. go to www.youtube.com and type in Democrat hypocrisy there is a video of different shows were those people claimed they though Saddam had WMD'S and that they thought we needed to be over there. They had the same intel and made the same decision, they just decided to politicize it and manipulate everyone against it so they could use popular opinion as their excuse to end it.

I'm for the war for freedom as well as our protection, I support the president but he isn't the reason why I'm for the war.

It's really very good that fighting for our freedom is being done outside this country - usa - . They have more sufferings over there in which In my opinion is due from the past leader of that country you have in question.

If US will not fight back - they will attack us HERE IN USA thinking that our boys here are chicken and won't retaliate.

We are very lucky that our leaders - two of them - father and son Old & Young Bush - have the guts to fight. And we have to support them because they are also family man with kids and wife. Worse comes to worse - they will be the first on line - although - that might not happen - but still. How courageous for them to send their people to battle for the whole nation? That's hard to undertake but that what they swear to do. I don't even listen to their speech because I understand 100% what this fighting is for.

Other countries are bullying USA and making trouble here and there, bombing embassys, bombing buildings and killing innocent people (other small and poor countries - you know all those countries...) and like MOJO JOJO, (the monkey in powerpuff cartoon movies) these bullies want to rule the world.and control the whole universe ...Republican said - NOnono...ah-ah...not on my watch. So there...I hope
you get it a bit now...it is very hard to go through every detail...but....yah...

To enrich the defense contractors and to steal the Iraqi oil.

100-300 thousand barrels of Iraq's daily production of oil has disappeared from their inventories every day for the last four years. People in the Bush administration have tried to say that insurgents and terrorist are stealing it but its the U.S. troops that are guarding the facilities.

We was made to believe there was weapons of mass destruction.....remember that......Bush said the U.N. was wrong....nothing to do with threats made to his daddy in a former administration.....

See when Clinton lied no one died! We was more concerned with his extra affairs than the concern of the lies that got us to Iraq and is killing many of our children.

Bottom line more people wanted to throw Clinton out of the white house for a ******** than lies about Iraq that is killing our citizens. Now ask yourself this ....where is our values today and what is your life worth. Also we can not make all people like us...different religions, different values, we are all made different....we are not from cookie cutters to be alike...we live in different areas ...different values...different morals....just like your children you can only guide and hope ..you can not make someone be something they are not..

DID WE FORGET ABOUT OSMA? How many years and he is where?

We were led to believe that there were weapons of mass destruction there and that Sadaam was responsible for 9/11 and other crimes. Since that time, no wmd were located and Sadaam was executed. As I recall, the situation was provoked by several facts. For one thing, the reports of wmd were embellished or falsified for purposes of getting a green light to proceed with the war. For another thing, Sadaam boasted many times that he had wmd and even bragged that he was the anti-christ and he could cause the end of the world. Although it is only my opinion, I do think that Sadaam had wmd and they have been moved or are still hidden.

At this point, we are solving nothing by remaining there. From what I can see, it has turned into another Vietman and the war machine/war industry is making billions from our involvement.

No, the people did not ask us to be there. No, we are not preserving American freedom. What we are doing is focusing on this particular issue, while ignoring many other issues that badly need to be addressed in the US. We need to be addressing the needs of the eldery and children in the US. Too many of them are without medical care, yet countries that the US considers lesser political powers have medical care for all citizens. I see the war in Iraq as a smokescreen to avoid these types of issues. The US government has avoidance personality disorder.

Because we have the first retarded president. And he's a warmonger. And there are idiots that still think Iraq had anything to do with 9/11.

Why are we in Iraq now?
Because if we left the country would be a mess, it would fall into civil war and Iran would fill in the void. Iran isn't the nicest of world neighbors and would use Iraq against us.

Why did we go in, in the 1st place?
It was under the false pre-tense of WMD's, but that's water under the bridge.

What should we do about it?
Tough call. But if you are ever confronted and take out a gun, you better be inclined to use it. There are no such things as limited military engagements.

Rent "Fahrenheit 911" and go see "No End in Sight" at a movie theater (probably your local art house movie theater). Everything will be explained.
