IF greg Maddoux gets in I think you mean WHEN. It would be nice if he went in as a Cubs but becuase he spet most of his time with the Braves I think he will go in a a Brave.

Maddux will be inducted as a Brave. That's where he played the longest and where he had his biggest moments. He won 3 of his 4 Cy Young awards there, he won the World Series with them and he, Glavine and Smoltz symbolize the success that the Braves have over the past decade and a half. The only player I associate with the Braves as much as those three are Chipper.

If? The man has over 340 wins. And is the best finesse pitcher of his generation he's a cinch for the Hall of Fame. Maddox doesn't get a say about what team he represents the good folks who run the museum determine that, but the smart money is on the Atlanta braves. He won most of his games there and all of his Cy Young awards there.

There is no "if" involved - for the record. Greg Maddux is a first ballet HOFer. My bet is he goes in with the Braves because that is where he spent the majority of his career including the best years of it.

Nobody actually goes into the Hall as a member of any team. You go in as a player, and they list all the teams you played for.

If you mean "what hat will be shown on his plaque?", I think the Braves is the obvious choice. Of the teams he played for, he spent the most time in Atlanta, had most of his wins with them, and won 3 of his 4 Cy Youngs there.

It pains me to say this, but when Maddux goes to the hall he will be in a Braves cap.

I know he won the series and all but I remember him as a Cubbie and would love to see him enter wearing that cap instead.

The only correct answer is that he will go in as Greg Maddux pitching for the most recent team he has played for. Meaning if he retires with the Padres that's the team he gets inducted as. Remember when Clemens came back with the Astros they weren't going to allow him to get into the HOF as a Yankee even though that's how he wanted to get in. Same rules apply here.

Maddux -- Atlanta. Easy.

I think he'll go in as a no-logo. He had 2 stints with the Cubs, a notable stint with the Braves, and now with the Padres. It's his decision, but he doesn't HAVE to have a logo on his cap.

Look for Roger Clemons to do the same thing when he goes in.

Before Nolan Ryan screwed it up by picking the Texas Rangers, inductees had their choice of any franchise they played for. Now there are guidelines the honorees must follow.

In Mad Dog's case it won't be an issue, he'll wear a Brave cap.
